Ned Lucks

Web Engineering, Consulting and Sales

Ned Lucks is a co-founder and President of Lucks Digital, Inc. He brings over a decade of front-to-back web development experience to every project and thrives on finding efficient, effective and manageable ways to turn client vision into reality. Ned has developed client-server applications, websites, web applications and web services in a variety of contexts. In recent years he has found and fallen in love with the Drupal open-source CMS as a platform for development of rich, future-proof solutions for clients across all industries.

Ned Lucks holds a bachelor's degree in Symbolic Systems with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence from Stanford University. When not chained to a keyboard, Ned enjoys family time, cycling, skiing, camping and socializing around Carbondale, Colorado... one of the most beautiful places in the world to call home.

Tracey Lucks

Database Engineering, Consulting and Sales

After graduating from the University of Puget Sound with a BS in Computer Science '96, Tracey Lucks has worked on contract basis for government and private entities as a database designer and administrator in Washington State, California, and Colorado. She started Tracey Hughes Consulting in 1999 based out of Snowmass Village, CO. Tracey Hughes Consulting was merged into Lucks Digital in 2009, but continues to provide the same services. Tracey strives to maintain quality personal service while creating functional, scalable, and cost effective "open" databases that provide vendor independence.

While not programming databases, Tracey teaches Alpine and Telemark skiing for the Aspen Skiing Company (http://www.aspensnowmass.com). Tracey also enjoys hiking, mountaineering, and mountain biking in the White River National Forest.

Jeff Thomas

Web Development and Support

Jeff graduated in 1999 from St. Olaf College with a B.A. in Biology. After graduation, he turned to another one of his passions by pursuing a career in the technology field by taking a desktop support position at Frontier Airlines and quickly working his way up to a system administrator and later a network engineer for eCollege.

After eight years of work on servers, computer networks, and with various companies including one year at gen-I in New Zealand, he decided to explore the realm of web development.

When not at work, Jeff enjoys a variety of winter sports like snowboarding, telemark and cross country skiing. When the snow disappears, you can find him on his bike or exploring a river with friends on his kayak or raft.

Colin O'Brien

Project Management and Web Development

Colin is fascinated by technology, visual media, publishing and the web. Colin comes to Lucks Digital after 6 years of running his own business focused on web publishing, content management systems, front-end web design and internet marketing. Colin’s goal is helping clients leverage the latest technology to grow their business on the web, while keeping it as accessible and user-friendly as possible.

When not a work Colin enjoys hikes and camping trips with his wife and two boys, reading books on economics, playing guitar and piano, and experimenting in the kitchen with all of the great food grown around his home in Paonia.
